Community College Initiative (CCI) Program

The Community College Initiative (CCI) Program seeks to foster mutual understanding between the citizens of the United States and the citizens of participating CCI countries.  The CCI Program provides participants with a non-degree, academic-year program at a U.S. community college designed to build participants’ technical skills in applied fields, enhance their leadership capabilities, and strengthen their English language proficiency.

YSEALI Sea Camp

The YSEALI SEA Camp is a U.S. Embassy initiative to promote ocean conservation and youth leadership. The program will bring together 30 youth leaders, ages 18-23, from March 19-26, 2018. All expenses (e.g., transportation, accommodations, and materials) will be covered by the project. The 2018 YSEALI SEA Camp-Bohol seeks civic-minded, environmentally-passionate youth leaders to create and implement solutions that address environmental sustainability issues in the region. 

SOAR CAMP 2018

SOAR (Student-Centered, Open-Minded, Active, and Reflective) Camp is the camp that is sponsored by the RELO Office, US Embassy Jakarta for selected enthusiastic in-service teachers who have taught English for NOT less than 5 years and NOT more than 10 years in secondary schools in Indonesia.

Eiffel Scholarships in France for International Students

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme was established by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development to enable French higher education establishments to attract top foreign students to enrol in their master’s and PhD courses.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program in USA

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals and artists from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States at U.S. universities or other academic institutions.

Born in New Zealand, Dr. Richards obtained a Master of Arts degree with first class honours in English from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, in 1966. He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Laval University (a French-Language University) in Quebec City, Canada in 1972.
