3. Motivating society to understand the importance of English as a foreign language to accommodate international communication through the making of some national-scale to international-scale events or competitions.

EMPOWER

1. Being involved actively in promoting cross-cultural understanding and contributing to ELT through seminars and/or workshops.

2. Participating actively in the field of research, scientific writing or the creation of published writing with ELT culture/values as the theme.

3. Helping to supply supporting materials for ELT through the making of modules, standardized tests, or other supporting materials which are yet to be sufficient.

1. Conducting workshops on teaching techniques for English teachers in formal education (schools), informal education (communities), and for pre-service English teachers.

2. Providing suitable environment to encourage students to learn English better as well as to apply what they have learned in real life situations by creating some after-school student engagement programs.

This project design was the result of an intensive planning involving 30 camp EPIC alumni from batch 1, 2, and 3. 

Initially proposed by Dwi Purwanto, the project is emerged by the concern of the importance of
TEFL and cross-cultural understanding for an effective
international communication especially within the issues of modernization and globalization.

The main purpose of this project is:
To engage all alumni of camp EPIC collaboratively on projects to improve the quality of Education especially on ELT  in both regionally and nationally as well as to overcome issues related to ELT and Cross-culture understanding.
